At Outer Reef Surf School, all our instructors are fully qualified B.S.A.
surf coaches, who are also beach lifeguards... so you know you are in
safe hands. Dean and Emma-mary have over 25 years surfing experience between
them, as well as twenty years coaching watersports to all ages and abilities.
Dean has been teaching surfing for the past 15 years and has surfed
in many surfing competitions. He has international sponsors backing
him in promotion the sport of surfing in Wales.

Emma-mary, BSA surfing instructions
S.L.S.A. Beach life guard
Emma-mary has been teaching watersports for the past 12 years and is the co-ordinator
of our very own successful woman's weekends. Not only teaching surfing but has also
spent many winters teaching skiing and working on a ski patrol and mountain rescue team. This winter, however, she spent he time surfing the reefs of Indonesia, Sri Lanka and New Zealand. She also has a degree
and PGCE in physical Education sports science.
Outer reef can advise on fitness programmes and training sessions required to
improve your fitness and stamina.

Tom Warrell , Tom has been teaching surfing for two years and has surfed in four different continents alongside some of the Outer Reef surf camps and his love for the sport come though in his lessons.

Harry Cromwell is one of most enthusiastic surfers/surf coach we know. He has a lot of competition experience.
He is British ranked as well as being in the British team.

Anne has been surfing for six years, She has spent some time this winter surfing in Morocco With some of the Outer Reef
surf crew. Anne surfs all the time both Longboarding and shortboarding and If there are no waves she down hill skateboards.
Anne is also female Dutch surfing champion.

Ernst has been surfing for 7 years. He has surfed all over Europe and was also in Morocco last winter with Anne and the guys.
Ernst is on the start of an 18 month surf trip, starting by teaching and surfing in Wales, then travelling in search of waves and adventure
all around the world.
