At Pembrokeshire &West Wales' Premier Surf School We offer a full range of surfing lessons and equipment hire, from a half days tuition, to week long courses, Kids' clubs, Surf camps and more...The surf courses are run at Newgale, Broadhaven, Freshwater West and Manorbier We also run surfing lessons around Swansea & Cardiff Area. Outer Reef also run B.S.A. instructor courses, aswell as S.L.S.A surf coach life saving & beach life guard Awards through out wales.

Beginner courses Our instructors are all fully qualified BSA surf coaches & beach lifeguards who will run you through the first stages of learning how to surf in Pembrokeshire. They will introduce you to the equipment, how to surf it and how to catch a wave. Safety is a big factor and you will be shown good awareness of your surroundings, whilst at the same time we can guarantee you will have a great time at some of the most beautiful beaches in Pembrokeshire.
Women's Weekend This Summer 2008 SALT ROCK are sponsoring us to run three workshop weekends in Pembrokeshire & West Wales for females only. The course is aimed at both the complete novice and female surfers who want some education and advice on all aspects of the sport such as performance analysis and the development of specific manouvres (Whilst most importantly having fun). We would like to thank all the girls who took part in last years workshops and hope you all had as much fun taking part as we did running them. Improving Skills Surfing is a sport where you can reach a performance plateau and get stuck at a level, unable to progress. Certain skills can not be learned through experience alone. Everyone can benefit from additional surfing lessons. Having one of our senior surfing instuctors analyse your style, techniques, wave selection etc. can have a dramatic effect on you surfing and produce quick results. We can refine your existing surfing skills as well as introducing new ones. We also ensure that there are enough instructors on hand to offer indivdual coaching within a group environment.
School Groups Outer Reef specialise in school group bookings. Our surfing instructors are fully qualified BSA coaches who provide professional surfing lessons in Pembrokeshire. They are also qualified SLSA Beach Lifeguards. The children will meet at the beach that offers the safest surfing conditions on the day, which will be at Newgale in north Pembrokeshire & Freshwater west or Manorbier beach for south Pembokeshire. They will be taken through the BSA ‘Young Athletes Junior Surf Scheme’, whilst most importantly having fun!!
Kids' club The 'Childrens' surf Clubs' are held all over Pembrokeshire & Wales. We run these surfing lessons at Newgale, Freshwater west & Manorbier during the summer months from May to October. It is aimed at local children from 7 - 17 years old. At West Wales premier surf club the children are coached through the British Surfing Association's 'Young Athlete Junior Scheme' by some of the best surfers in Wales.
