All our instructors are fully qualified B.S.A. surf coaches, who are also beach lifeguards... so you know you are in safe hands. Our team have over 25 years surfing experience between them, as well as 20 years coaching watersports to all ages and abilities.

 B.S.A. Level 4 & Trainer Assessor,SLSA Lifeguard & Trainer Assessor Dean has been teaching surfing for the past 15 years and has surfed in many surfing competitions. He has international sponsors backing him in the promotion the sport of surfing in Wales. Emma-Mary

BSA Surfing Instructor, SLSA Beach Lifeguard Emma-Mary has been teaching watersports for the past 12 years and is the co-ordinator of our very own successful woman's weekends. Not only teaching surfing but has also spent many winters teaching skiing and working on a ski patrol and mountain rescue team. This winter, however, she spent he time surfing the reefs of Indonesia, Sri Lanka and New Zealand. She also has a degree and PGCE in physical Education sports science. Outer reef can advise on fitness programmes and training sessions required to improve your fitness and stamina.

Joanne Dennison

 B.S.A. surfing instructor S.L.S.A Beach life guard Joanne Dennison is an enthusiastic surfer with a lot of competition experience. She is British ranked number 1 as well as being 3 times Welsh surfing champion. She is also in the British surf team. Jo believes advanced surf coaching can have a dramatic effect on your surfing and produce quick results.
