Junior surf camp Le Pin Sec, France
After the big success of the Junior surf camps of the last 2 seasons, the Outer Reef Junior Surf camp will run again this season at Le Pin Sec France, for youngsters from 13 to 16 years old.
During the summer you can enjoy your one week stay at our state of the art surf camp. Having fun and (learning) surfing at our ‘All-in’ camp. Surf classes are given in small groups supervised by fully qualified BSA-instructors & SLSA Beach lifeguards. Besides the surf classes the Outer Reef-crew provide numerous beach games and sports throughout the day. Even at night you will never feel bored while enjoying the fun evening group activities. With all of this on offer you will enjoy a perfect week surf trip full of fun.
Of course there will be some ‘free’ moments to enjoy: relaxing on the beach, in the camp or improving your surf skills under the presence of our qualified lifeguards. Our 16 strong surf crew contains lifeguards, qualified surf instructors and PE teachers, who are highly trained. These people are a highly organised responsible team whose aim is to provide the youngsters with a safe environment for an action packed week under responsible supervision.

The camp
The Outer Reef -camp is located in Le Pin Sec, a beach in the village of Naujac sur Mer in the Gironde region of France. Thanks to the west northwest orientation of the beach we catch a lot of swell. The vast beach offers waves for everyone and plenty of space for all levels to practice. Fun without a doubt!!
Place to stay
Our camps consist of spacious 4-person tents, each divided in 2 2-person compartments.
The camps has a vast kitchen and in-outside dining area. The super cool chill out area offers DVD-players, play stations,… for some relaxing after the busy day. The camp has a trampoline, ping pong tables, a MTB-rack and a fancy Hawaiian surf bar where soft drinks are available at low prices. The campsite is right next to the dunes only 200m away from the beach and has all sanitary facilities on offer.
Surfing equipment
We only work with the best equipment on offer. According to your level we have short boards, mini-Malibu’s and long boards available. Both in foam and hard board constructions. Wetsuits and rash vests are available to protect you from the elements. Thanks to O’Neill we always have nice new suits to offer.
Furthermore we have body boards at the beach and indo boards to practice your skills in the camp. If you like the bring your board you can store it in our board storage area in the camp.
Surf classes
A package of 10-15 hours of surf course will be spread over the week, all depending on the conditions. We work in small groups of 7 subdivided according to levels. So even if you have surfed before you will still be able to learn from our experienced instructors tips and tricks. All beginner classes take place on foamies (soft boards). At the end of each week we run a fun surf competition amongst all campers with funky prices to win.
Food
In the morning you can enjoy the vast breakfast buffet, offering: cereals, tasty French croissants, baguettes, chocolate spread, jelly, yoghurt, milk, juice,…
At noon we have a lunch buffet or pack lunch on offer, depending on that days schedule. Every evening you can enjoy our crews fresh cooked dinners while watching the sunset. We offer two BBQs with fresh vegetables a week, cold buffet, spaghetti etc …
Chill-out
A quick rest may be needed after an intense day. You can enjoy our chill out area playing the play station or watching a surf movie from the ‘big beanbags’ or maybe you would like to have a chat with some friends while enjoying our hammocks.
Practical info.
We offer our junior surf camps to youngsters from 13 years (year of birth 1998) to 16 years old (year of birth 1995). Each booking must be legally confirmed by parent or legal guardian.
