SURF & SUP CLUB WALES

Pembrokeshire Board Riders Club is a nonprofitable local club that would like to invite members to join in our love for Pembrokeshire & the ocean and to help educate & develop it's local community members in a fun & safe way. 

The club can offer access to & understanding of the natural environment that we have on our doorstep by taking to the sea with surfing & SUPing in the amazing unique coastal national park with the additional health benefit bonus of being active. We are happy to announce the dates, activities & different membership categories for the  Club. 

First off, the Sunday Surf & Sup children's club. Places are limited, so if you our interested sign up soon to avoid disappointment.

The 'Childrens' Surf Clubs' is held all over Pembrokeshire & Wales. We run these Surfing Lessons at Newgale, Freshwater West & Manorbier during the summer months, from May to October. It is aimed at local children from 8 -16 years old. At West Wales premier surf club the children are coached through the 'Outer Reef Scheme' by some of the best surfer coaches in Wales.

Age: 7-14

The membership Price is £120

This is for a ten week surf development scheme. 

This includes Welsh Surfing Federation third party insurance, a club t-shirt, surf scheme logbook & certificates, Billabong posters, stickers, use of Outer Reef Surf & Sup Centres equipment, surfboards, wetsuits & the stand up paddle boarding, pulse discounts in local surf shops in Pembrokeshire.

 TO SIGN UP POP IN TO OUR SURF SHOP IN PEMBROKE, WE ARE OPEN FROM THE 2ND OF APRIL, AT UPPER LAMPHEY ROAD 

 DAY. Every Sunday 12-2pm

STARTING DATE 14th of May until 16th of July

Next up, the Adult & Family Surf & Stand up paddle boarding Club.

The membership Price for individuals is £30 or family membership is £90 for a family of four. Price £100 per person for a ten weeks surf or stand up paddle boarding development scheme. 

Age:15-65 or older :)

DAY : Every Saturday. The club will be run every Saturday. As we have had a great deal of interest it is likely that we can accommodate half of the clubs members on the first  and third Saturday of the month and the other half on the second and fourth Saturday of the month. We feel by splitting the Saturday club so that group members get x2 session a month , it will allow more opportunities for club members to attend & participate.

DATE. From the 20th of May 

This also will include the Welsh Surfing Federation third party insurance, a free 2 hour, basic first aid course a club t-shirt, surf scheme development logbook & certificates, (you can also have posters, stickers,) & the use of Outer Reef Surf & Sup Centres equipment, surfboards, wetsuits & the stand up paddle boarding, plus discounts in local surf shops in Pembrokeshire.

The membership Price for individuals is £20

Age: 8-65 or older

This is for local surfers that want to complete in WSF & British contests This includes Welsh Surfing Federation third party insurance, a club t-shirt, a free 2 hour, basic first aid course, plus discounts in local surf shops in Pembrokeshire. 

We can offer, If we have demand ........

Video analysis and feedback, watermanship skills, surfing bigger waves with confidence and safety, theory sessions to gain understanding of rip currents, weather, surfing drills, diet, competitive strategies, how to gain sponsorship, trial heats to improve your knowledge, and gain the competitive edge. We will also be having once a month meeting of all club members to arrange surf or sup trip, fundraisers & any other topics or development we come across as the club develops.

All the money that goes into the club will go towards club equipment & the cost of the insurance & the qualified coaches. We will also be looking in the future, at getting club members trained up to become qualified lifeguards, Surf & Stand up paddle boarding instructors. Outer Reef is supporting the start up of the club & want the club to be it's own entity & a sustainable club & has donating the use of equipment & there instructors.
