Your son/daughter took part in last years Billabong surf & Paddleboard club sessions as part of the Outer Reef ‘Young Athletes Junior Surf Scheme award’. Pembrokeshire Sports development & Outer Reef Surf Centre would like to invite your child again to join the next 6 week surfing programme starting in May to progress further in our Surf Scheme’.
The Autumn surf sessions yet again saw some superb surfing conditions with some consistent swells and glassy conditions, perfect for those new to surfing as well as allowing the advanced surfers to show real progress ( green wave ‘out the back’ surfing) in both technique, watermanship skills and confidence, With yet more surfers achieving the stage 1 of the Gold Junior Surf Scheme Award and many achieving part 1 & 2 Silver awards. During the next six week programme, we will be showing the children how to develop new skills and working on ‘good technique’ with existing skills. Thanks to Billabong we also have some newly advanced wetsuits & tech boards for the club.
The six sessions cost £95 per person. The price includes 6 sessions, Transport, wetsuit and board provided, a surf club t-shirt and certificate. To book your place and pay online simply click on the following link

The pupils will be picked up from main reception at the school as soon as school finishes and will be taken to the beach that offers the safest surf conditions on the day, which will either be Tenby South beach, Manorbier beach or Freshwater West and then returned to school at approximately 6.30pm. If the surf session runs at Freshwater West we may arrive back at school at 6.45pm. In the event of your child not being able to take part in a surf session for whatever genuine reason we will require prior notice of this, so we can issue your child with a catch-up surf voucher.
The Outer reef instructors are fully qualified coaches, who provide professional tuition. They are also qualified Beach Lifeguards. If your son/daughter would like to take part please fill in the online attached booking form.
