Pre-Requisites And Award Validity

Candidates should be at least 16 years old on the date of assessment.
You should be able to swim confidently in open water and complete the required sea swim elements.
You must be medically and physically fit for running, swimming, board rescue and casualty management.
The award is normally valid for 24 months from the assessment date.
