We will give you a short introduction and a safety briefing before you head off on your adventure. If you have had any Sessions with us during your stay in Pembrokeshire then why not come over to us to hire a Paddle Board or Kayak with a wetsuit and practice what you have learned?

We are based in Pembrokeshire on Saundersfoot Harbour Marine Centre of Excellence, where you'll find us hiring every day weather permitting. Safety is paramount and when you hire with Outer Reef we will make sure the conditions are safe and suitable with our fully qualified Beach lifeguards are on duty at all times keeping a watchful eye over you and your family when you're on the water. NB. 1. Every hire will need a surf safety disclaimer form to be filled out by someone over 18 years. 2. We will require a piece of ID such as driving licence, passport or debit/credit card to be left as a security deposit. 3. Discounts are available for students, armed forces and groups. 4. If you have booked and paid for surf or SUP hire and wish to cancel we ask that you give us 72hrs notice.

How well a wetsuit works is completely affected by its construction.

This means the neoprene that is being used and how the wetsuit has been put together.

Our wetsuits are all glued, blind stitched and taped at the seams. The quality of this construction means water only comes in at the ankles, neck and waist area. With a good fit, this is minimal.

We stock these wetsuits all year round so you can be confident that you will always be well equipped to enjoy your surfing experience in Pembrokeshire.

During the warmer months, we also have a large range of shorty and Funky Seal (patterned) wetsuits available.

Foamie surf boards, kayaks & inflatable paddle boards are fantastic boards, the perfect boards for learning the foundations of surfing, SUPPing and kayaking. Foam boards are very buoyant, with lots of volumes and soft construction. All of this leads them to be much more forgiving than other surfboards, and pick up the waves earlier.

They are called “foamies” because of their soft foam construction.

We measure our wetsuits with you to make sure you have the appropriate size.
