Salty Sisters Pembrokeshire is where our community begins. It brings together surfing, paddle boarding, coasteering, coastal adventures and relaxed evenings with women who all came looking for the same thing: connection.
We shape each day around the weather, tides and sea conditions, but the real heart of the retreat is the group experience that forms around every session.
Pembrokeshire is ideal if you want to meet women who enjoy the ocean, adventure, laughter and being outside.
You do not need to arrive with a friend, be naturally outgoing or already feel confident in the sea. Shared experiences make conversation easy and friendships form naturally.

Both retreats follow the same supportive week-long format, with the daily plan adapted around the best available surf, weather and coastal conditions.
Enjoy early autumn on the Pembrokeshire coast with seven nights of surfing, coastal experiences, hotel comfort and time to unwind.
Slow down after summer with an autumn week of ocean time, supportive coaching, beautiful scenery and restorative hotel facilities.
Surfing gives everyone something to share, but the retreat is never only about the waves.
Complete beginners can learn together, returning surfers can rebuild confidence and improving surfers can develop at their own pace. The shared experience makes it easier to relax, laugh and encourage one another.
The real magic often happens between sessions: coffee after surfing, walking back up the beach, changing stories in the van and realising strangers are beginning to feel like friends.
The change happens quickly when everyone shares the same reason for being there.
Surfing is the main focus, supported by coastal activities, hotel comfort, spa time and space to simply enjoy the week.

Return to the hotel for relaxed time, shared stories and a chance to properly unwind.
Surfing simply gives everyone something to share. The real magic happens over coffee after the session, walking back up the beach, eating together and laughing about the parts of the day nobody planned.
One evening, when conditions allow, we slow everything down and spend time together without rushing to the next activity.
A four-star Georgian country hotel near Pembroke, surrounded by countryside and well positioned for Outer Reef activity locations across southern Pembrokeshire.
After a day by the sea, return to comfortable accommodation, peaceful grounds and hotel facilities that help the whole week feel like a genuine retreat.
The contrast between active days on the coast and restorative time at the hotel is what makes this retreat special.
Lamphey Court’s facilities include an indoor pool, gym, sauna, steam room and treatment rooms. Spa treatments can be requested as optional additions, subject to availability.
Shared meals give the group time to slow down, talk about the day and enjoy the retreat beyond the activities.
The final package will confirm which breakfasts, dinners or group meals are included. Lamphey Court offers restaurant, conservatory, bar and lounge spaces for relaxed evenings.
Many women join because they want to meet like-minded people but do not have a friend available to come with them. Shared surf sessions, SUP, coasteering, meals and evenings together make connection feel natural.
You do not need to be confident, outgoing or experienced. You only need to be open to meeting women who came for the same reason.

Enjoy a final session or coastal experience followed by a relaxed evening celebrating the friendships formed during the week.

Outer Reef has delivered surf coaching and coastal activities in Pembrokeshire since 1999, with a local team that understands the beaches, tides and changing conditions.
The hotel also provides indoor spaces that can support welcome briefings, group catch-ups or changes to the programme when needed.
