Surfing is an exciting activity perfect for both you and your kids! At Outer Reef Surf School, we specialize in teaching children aged 7 years and above how to surf. We do require that children are capable swimmers, able to swim at least 25 meters.
You can enroll your children in our standard surf lessons or opt for our family surfing lessons, offering a fantastic opportunity to bond as a family while learning to surf together.
Our Surf Lessons are priced at £40 per person, providing an unforgettable experience for you and your family with our professional, qualified surf coaches. Each lesson caters to up to 2 adults and 2 children, or 1 adult and 3 children.
All necessary equipment, including wetsuits and surfboards, is included in the price. With a wide selection of wetsuits and boards available, rest assured we'll have the perfect fit for you and your family.
During the lessons, children will learn the fundamentals of surfing while receiving coaching on safety measures, all while having a blast! Our Kids Surfing Lessons in Pembrokeshire, Wales, are available daily, led by experienced instructors.

WHY LEARN TO SURF WITH OUTER REEF SURF SCHOOL?
Outer Reef runs the ultimate surf school in Pembrokeshire. Join our surf lesson, we'll meet you to the best beaches with perfect learning waves and will have you riding in no time.
Before your surf courses, you will be met by your friendly Outer Reef surf coach and meet the rest of your surf group, the exact beach depends on the conditions on the day, so we ask everyone to call the day before, as we decided where the waves are ideal for learning to surf.
ABOUT OUR LESSONS
Surfing Lessons run every day from April till November.
Lesson times are subject to availability, season and weather conditions.
Main Season
You will mostly find us at Freshwater West & Manorbier Beach, Depending on the conditions of the day.
We will pick the best and safest beach for learning and meet you 15 minutes prior to your lesson.
Early & Late Season
You're more likely to find us all over Pembrokeshire as we look for the best waves during the larger swells and stronger winds that come around this time of year.

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR SURF LESSON?
Our instructors are all fully qualified ISA Surf & Stand up paddle boarding coaches & SLSGB Beach Lifeguards who will run you through the first stages of learning how to surf in Pembrokeshire. They will introduce you to the equipment, how to surf it and how to catch a wave. Safety is a big factor and you will be shown good awareness of your surroundings, whilst at the same time, we can guarantee you will have a great time at some of the most beautiful beaches in Pembrokeshire.
