Join Outer Reef Children’s Club, a local nonprofit organisation dedicated to fostering a love for Pembrokeshire and the ocean while educating and developing our community members in a fun and safe environment.

Who Is It For?
All local children aged 6–17 with a passion for the ocean and learning through adventure are welcome.
How Does It Work?
Outer Reef offers surf lessons in six-week blocks from spring to autumn, with sessions based on optimal conditions to ensure the best and safest surfing experience. These lessons are tailored for kids aged 6–18 and include skill-building, ocean safety education and fun.
Sessions take place at locations like Freshwater West, Manorbier, Broadhaven and Newgale.

Our children’s surf club has run across Newgale, Freshwater West and Manorbier during the warmer months. Participants are guided through the Outer Reef Scheme by experienced coaches.
Membership & What’s Included
The original page describes surf development schemes with a logbook and certificates, posters and stickers, access to surfboards, wetsuits and stand-up paddleboarding equipment, and discounts at local surf shops.

Advanced Surf Training Programme
Subject to demand, we can offer video analysis and feedback, watermanship skills, surfing bigger waves with confidence and safety, theory on rip currents and weather, surfing drills, diet, competitive strategies, sponsorship and trial heats.
We also aim to bring club members together for surf or SUP trips, fundraisers and other activities as the club develops.
