Optional surf coaching is available for beginners and progressing surfers, with the beach and surf school directly in front of the camp.
Surf One Of Europe’s Most Recognised Coastlines
Les Estagnots is a sandy beach break in the Seignosse and Hossegor surf zone. Conditions vary with tide, swell and wind, creating opportunities for complete beginners, improving surfers and experienced riders.
Optional weekly courses combine practical water sessions with an introduction and surf theory. Surfboards and wetsuits are supplied for booked courses, and equipment use may also be available outside lesson times under the camp’s conditions.

How far is Surf Camp Seignosse from the beach?
The surf camp is approximately 200 metres from Les Estagnots
beach. A route through the garden leads towards the beach and dunes.
Do I need previous surfing experience?
No. Optional surf coaching is available for complete beginners and
progressing surfers. Your level is assessed so you can be placed
with an appropriate group.
Are surf lessons included in the accommodation price?
Surf coaching is normally an optional extra. Outer Reef can include
the suitable surf course in your personalised quotation.
What age is the main surf course suitable for?
The standard surf-course programme is generally available from age
12, subject to the camp’s current safety conditions and availability.
What accommodation options are available?
Options include double or twin rooms, an ensuite double room and
five or six-bed shared rooms. Availability depends on your selected
travel week.
Are meals included?
Daily breakfast and five evening meals are included in the standard
weekly package. Exact meal arrangements will be confirmed with

Is yoga included?
Included yoga varies by season. The camp advertises more included
sessions during peak periods and at least one during the quieter
season. Additional sessions may be bookable locally.
Is this a party surf camp?
The camp has a friendly and sociable atmosphere, but it is a small
five-room surf house rather than a large party resort. Bars and
nightlife can be found nearby for guests who want them.
Can solo travellers stay here?
Yes. The shared rooms, communal areas, café and group activities
make Seignosse a strong option for solo travellers who want to meet
other surfers.
Are flights included?
Flights are not included. Guests arrange their own travel to
southwest France. Biarritz and Bordeaux are common airport options,
while Dax is a useful regional railway station.
